Photographer’s Notes:

Splatterings of black tar used to fill cracks on the sidewalk of a bridge are printed to resemble an eerie nocturnal scene with debris falling from the sky. For me, it looks like the immediate aftermath of a nuclear explosion, forever altering the once placid mountains and lake.
