Fab Four: Sands, Wilson, Friesen and Seltzer on Viewville

Jill Sands takes her old Polaroid SX-70 camera, some water, natural light and various flowers and records what happens. These dreamy florals would look amazing in a grouping. Pick any three!

Things unnoticed or insignificant upon first glance are given a strong look through the lens of Jeff Seltzer. The results are striking. Things passed over in everyday travels become bold and painterly tableaus that would look amazing at large sizes.

The nuances and textures of the ocean horizons through the seasons are uniquely captured by Jeff Friesen in his Beyond There seascape series. While each photo is similarly created, each one reveals new details and emotions upon closer examination.

Life on an urban street can be made into a performance. The denizens of the city, alone and in transit, become the actors upon the stage in Lillian Elaine Wilson's B&W photography.
