Photographer’s Notes:

The photographs in my Beyond Here series are created by making long exposures while panning the camera, sometimes with the scene slightly out-of-focus. I love using this technique to bring out a painterly quality in the finished print. Ever-changing northern weather adds its own dramatic impression — each image captures a moment never to be seen again.
