Photographer’s Notes:

I was paging through an old book that belonged to my grandfather and this leaf floated into my lap — I just happened upon it. My grandfather always did this sort of thing, leaving small gifts for someone to find at a later date, although he probably didn’t look at it that way. Sometimes a flower, sometimes a leaf, they marked his pages. Now they mark mine.
