Photographer’s Notes:

This image was from a series of images created one afternoon in an empty classroom at Valley College in Los Angeles. The quiet beauty of the empty classroom was quite compelling. There’s a funny conflict or tension between the chair and the light sockets, each turning away from the other. Compositionally, this breaks some classic rules, but I believe it’s still successful.
