Photographer’s Notes:

This is the first in a series of photos that show familiar scenes in an unusual light by removing cars and people in the landscape. It becomes unfamiliar without the noise of everyday life even though we experience these landscapes every day. This image is actually an HDR combined from 150 unique shots to create the empty landscape.
