Photographer’s Notes:

In early 2005 I went back to West Africa to photograph a wedding for an American friend and her Senegalese boyfriend. For a week prior to the ceremony, I toured around the area with friends and family. I brought a few cameras with me, but shot all my personal work on a Rolleiflex twin lens, my favorite travel camera. This image was taken in the fish market in Dakar. I love the amazing colors inside the iridescent fish scales.
