Photographer’s Notes:

An early experiment with Polaroid negatives. The negative is not processed in the normal manner. Other chemicals are mixed in and the negative isn’t washed — this is what creates the distressed texture to the image. Unfortunately, the image on the negative vanished within about two months. Later, I worked out a system that gave me the same look and a more permanent image.
