Photographer’s Notes:

I shot this with my 1912 Graflex view camera. I wanted a photograph of my daughter on the day she was baptized. She was not a child that liked “girly” things and this was the first time she agreed to wear a dress. I thought it was important to document the day, not only because of her baptism, but because we’d probably not see her in a dress for a long time.
