Photographer’s Notes:

This scene was taken in a pool made by the ocean on Tybee Beach when the tide goes out on its South Beach. I emerged myself halfway into the “pool” with my waterproof camera and took the picture from a low vantage point, which removes the context from the image, allowing the scene to look like a surreal scene in a desert, but with water.
