Photographer’s Notes:

One of my favorite places to gather objects from is The Bell Museum of Natural History. The red suede beneath the butterfly intensifies the color and texture of the wings. Most people are so cut off from the natural world, this seems like a small gift I can give to anyone who is curious enough to look.
