Buck Holzemer

As an eight-year old boy, Buck began his photography career by climbing onto the garage roof to take pictures of his friends playing basketball in the driveway below. Although this seemed to limit his on-court skills forever, it introduced him to the wonder of viewing the world through that magic little window in the back of the camera. After a six-year detour studying the wonders of the unseen world through physics and mathematics, he returned to “the magic little window” in his late twenties and began a career in photography. He added filmmaking shortly after that and has enjoyed a versatile and successful career as an image-maker for many years. Recently he returned to the basketball court where he still seems to miss a lot of lay-ups and get really sore knees.
