Photographer’s Notes:

At 282 feet below sea level, Badwater is the lowest place in North America. Typically this body of water fluctuates between 50 to 150 yards in diameter during the year. A once-in-a-century winter storm swelled the “lake” to many miles in length, but only inches in depth. Nature provided me a rare opportunity to photograph one of my favorite places in a way I may never see again.
