Photographer’s Notes:

I shot a series of images in the Badlands while traveling in the West. It is an amazing place that gives you a keen awareness of time and history. You get a strong sense of the ages it took to etch the high plains into the ruined landscape you see. I tried to capture this sense of time and the vast space present.
