Photographer’s Notes:

The majority of my black and white work is printed using lith chemistry. I like it because the blacks are rich, the mid-tones have noticeable grain, and the highlights are creamy. Overall it has a real “made in a bucket” look. It is a process that is hard to master, and when I was trying to figure out what I was doing, I had my friend Ashley step outside with my fiddle so I could take a quick picture. Voila! Came out pretty good.
